PTO Meeting Recap

First of all, welcome to all of the new parents/teachers, and to the returning ones as well. It was wonderful to see such an amazing turn out for our first meeting of the year!

At our last meeting on September 13th, 2016, we discussed upcoming events and fundraisers the PTO would be involved in. The following is an overview of those events and dates. Please sign up and volunteer to help and attend these fun events so that our school can continue to be a success. Also, don’t forget to pass the information to friends and family to come attend as well!

• Movie Night – Sept 30th at the elementary school. We will be watching Zootopia. The kids can make cars out of boxes, and family/friends bring your chairs and blankets. We will be selling cotton candy, pickles, popcorn, pickle pops, drinks and much more! Click here to sign up to volunteer.

• See You at the Pole – September 28th at 7:15am. See You at the Pole shirts are available to purchase at Sloan’s for $10.

• Nerf Night – We are working on planning a Nerf Night. The tentative dates are October 14th or 28th. Wear camo and bring your Nerf guns and ammo.

• Pancake Dinner – December 2nd at North 40 Restaurant. Pictures with Santa. This will be from 6p-9p.

If you have any more ideas for fundraisers or activities, please let us know. We will see you at the upcoming meeting on October 11th at 6:30 in the Elementary School Library. Also, if you sign up to volunteer at a PTO event, you must first have a background check completed (only once per school year). If you still need to have your background check done, please see Kay Cason in the Elementary School Office.
