Pre-Kindergarten
Hooray for summer!!! Pre-K has had a very successful and wonderful year! Thanks goes to all parents for their support and help throughout the year. Wishing everyone a very happy and restful summer break.
Kindergarten
We had a wonderful year in Kindergarten! Congratulations Class of 2028 on your recent Kindergarten Graduation. Thank you parents for helping us to have a successful year! Please continue to work with your child on their sight words and home readers this summer to help prepare them for First Grade. We appreciate you sharing your children with us this year, and we hope you have a wonderful summer!.
First Grade
It is hard to believe that the year has already come to an end. The First Grade Teachers are so proud of the progress our students have shown. We watched them grow from students just able to read a couple of words into real readers. They tackled math problems and learned addition, subtraction, 3-D shapes, money and time among other new concepts. We asked them to work hard and they did. We enjoyed many activities at the end of school, especially the Parking Lot Picnic, Field Day and Splash Day. We want to thank Mrs. Griffith, Mrs. Hood, Coach Prince and Coach Tracy and all the others who helped make these days special for our students. COACH PRINCE - YOU’VE BEEN WONDERFUL! We want to thank the parents of our students who read with their children and patiently went over spelling and sight words each week. We also want to give a special Thank You to the PTO for all their support through the year; thanks for making this a better place for the kids. We also want to give a special Thank You to our wonderful school secretary Kay Cason who keeps things running smoothly and always has a kind word, a shoulder to lean on and ready smile. Thank you for all you do to keep the wheels turning, you are amazing!
Second Grade
This has been an exciting and great year! We enjoyed field day, awards, splash day, and all the fun activities we have had this month. The 2nd grade teachers want to thank all the parents for helping and participating in all of this year’s activities. Please remember to read and practice your math facts during the summer! We hope everyone has a great summer and we will see you next year!
Third Grade
Summer is almost here! Our 3rd grade diorama project was a huge success with 100% participation. Our judges had a difficult decision in choosing the top five. The winners were Grayson Hill, Stormi Gonsalez, Kylie Worthington, Jordi Whittington, and Kamri Evans. Our STAAR tests went swimmingly thanks to the hard work and cooperation of teachers, aides, and parent volunteers. Our 3rd graders were excited to visit the Middle School campus and check out their new stomping grounds for next year. We had a great time picnicking and playing afterward in Bluebonnet Park in Ennis. Our water slide/obstacle course fun during specials has become a favorite end-of-the-year activity, and we hope it stays an annual event. Have a great summer!
