Welcome back! The 2016-2017 school year at Scurry-Rosser Elementary School is off and running. Thank you to everyone who has made this first week a happy one for students and staff, alike! It is so exciting to see all of the new faces, old friends, and happy kids that a new school year brings. We are proud to have three new staff members on our campus this year: Wendy LaCour, PPCD, Nancy Murff, Special Ed. and Taylor Reneau, kindergarten. Welcome ladies!
I am happy to say there is much excitement in the air at SRES! Meet the Teacher night brought out our entire community. Even though it was pouring down rain, it was a wonderful night. Thank you to our PTO for our awesome school shirts. Every student and staff member received one and are wearing them with pride. Once again, I am blessed to be leading such a wonderful campus of students and staff. This 2016-2017 school year is going to be an exciting one!
