Hello Wildcat Families,
It’s hard to believe this is our last newsletter of the school year! Thank you to all of YOU that have done SO MUCH throughout the year to support PTO and our kiddos at Scurry-Rosser Elementary School! Your support helped students have an amazing year full of educational experiences as well as fun activities. We are very lucky to have such outstanding parents!
Thank you to everyone who came out to join us for the 2016 Glow Walk. It was such a fun evening for both kids and parents. We would like to congratulate Preston Shirey & Alex Terranova, our 2016 Senior PTO Scholarship winners. The 3rd grade student council presented the scholarships at the Senior Walk on Tuesday.
We are already thinking ahead for next year! There are still plenty of volunteer spots open, so please contact me if you are interested in “jumping in”! We are always looking for parents who are excited about the good things that are happening at SRE and who want to ensure those good things keep happening. If you are one of those parents, please become a member and let one of the PTO officers know that you are interested in participating in PTO. Lastly, thank you again for a memorable year! It has been my honor and pleasure being your PTO President this school year! Have a fun and safe summer!
