Inside the Wildcat Watch: PTO Message

Hello Wildcat Families,
As you read this, the 2014-2015 school year is coming to an end. What an awesome year we have had! As a PTO, we started the year with the goal of getting the new playground equipment installed as well as adding additional equipment. With your support, we have been hugely successful in this and many more endeavors throughout the school year. Your generous gift of participation and support contributed to the success of many events including the Spirit Store, Christmas Store, Book Fair, Duct Tape Fundraiser and Glow Walk. The funds raised from these events ensured we were able to give back to the school. This year we were able to provide teachers with a back to school gift, snacks from our food cart, Christmas and Teacher Appreciation gifts as well as miscellaneous classroom supplies as needed. All students received a free school shirt at the beginning of the school year and a free book from the Book Fair. In addition the PTO helped fund the field trips so all students would be able to attend. Additional playground equipment will be purchased for the students over the summer and we have a goal to have it installed prior to the start of the new year.
We thank you greatly for adding to the educational experience of our children.
The PTO wishes a fond farewell to our 3rd grade students and encourage them to embrace every opportunity as they enter the next stage of learning. Your presence will be missed. To our faculty, we thank you for inspiring our children. You continuously raise the bar and we appreciate the exceptional gift you bring to our community.
Lastly, a heartfelt thank you to our volunteers. We thank you all for your commitment to our school and students. Your volunteer hours and the talents you all bring to the table are sincerely appreciated.
